Anniversary

So, in a few days, my one year wedding anniversary will be here. It is so hard to believe that I have been married for a year. It's amazing how time flies. Funny, but it seems I am more in love than ever.

When I look back on my first year of marriage, I am amazed I survived. Not because it was rocky or bad, because of so many life changes. It was not your typical year. But through it all I found so much contentment in myself, and in my relationship with Tim. It's actually been really good for me to be so far away from anything remotely comfortable. Because, if anything, it has taught me that no matter where in the world I am, Tim is my home. I find safety and security in him and in US. That is an amazing feeling ladies and gents. And if you haven't been in this kind of love.... this washing dishes, stinky feet, dirty laundry cuddling on the couch on a Friday night kinda love- I challenge you to try it. It stretches you and tests you but it's a love more powerful than any in your life. So, I dedicate this blog to my all-time best friend, confidant, and amazing lover..... my husband Tim.
