Our Birthday Boy
On Sunday August 10th, we decided to not only have a birthday party, but also a dedication of Elijah to the Lord. We had Dr. Schaefer do a ceremony and it was amazing. Near the river, under the shade of a giant tree, we pledged to raise our son in a way that would be pleasing to the Lord. All of our close friends and family members stood in agreement and affirmation as we offered a prayer of dedication to the Lord of Elijah Cole.
I think it might have been one of the neatest ceremonies I have been a part of. Ofcourse, Elijah was oblivious to it and only stayed quiet because I bribed him with Cheerios.
Then, ofcourse it was time to get down to business and partayy!! This is the banner that I spent like 2 weeks making. Totally worth it though.
