Climbing the walls

I never thought that being a mom could be this confining. I mean, I always knew that kids take naps and such, therefor you have to stay CLOSE to home, but I always thought I'd be one of those active moms who would be climbing a mountain while packing their child behind them. But since it's been rainy all week and my child has a cold, I have been stuck inside for almost a full week. Sure, I went to church, for 2 hours. But I feel like that would be equivalent to rec time in prison. 2 hours to stretch your legs.

Hours turn to days, and days turn to weeks. I realized today, I have NO IDEA what the date is.

With only my Pottery Barn catalogues and some old Friends episodes to comfort me, I stay here, locked away until spring.

I'm out here, and I feel your pain. Unless my kids have a fever or green boogs I'm out. Everyones kid has a cough or clear boogs right now. It's part of being a kid. I know that even a browse around Target helps my kids. I don't buy any thing but popcorn and a drink.
