Haarry Pawta

That was my lame attempt at writing an English accent.... nice huh?

So, we are NOT Harry Potter fans. Never have been. We tried watching the first one and got bored, or maybe a little too over-stimulated and gave up. Never understood the hype. Fast-forward to this weekend....

Our kid got sick and got no sleep so to pacify the endless whining,we reluctantly turned to the Family Channel where they were having a Harry Potter weekend. We watched the first one again, then the second, third, and fourth. By Sunday night, both our kids were asleep in their beds and there we were, still watching Harry Potter, totally hooked on the story. Now I find myself wondering how I can get ahold of the 5th one, and maybe find a babysitter to see the Half-Blood Prince. Honestly..... how did this happen?

That is really funny :-) I got really sucked into the books like that. Read the first and thought, "um why the craze". But then Joe' kept checking out the books at the library and I kept reading them, and then we finished all four that were in print and had the long wait for 5, 6 and 7.
BTW I liked your British accent-great job

So have you seen the Half-Blood Prince yet? What'd you think?

I have the 5th one and you're welcome to borrow it. However, especially as you like to read, you need to read the books! They are a million times better than the movies! I promise you will love them! I have them all and you're welcome to borrow those too!

Also, I am trying really hard to get into P&P&Z but I keep getting side tracked. I still have a little time :)
